About Me

I was born 9/17/1940 in Mobile Alabama, My first eighteen years were spent there, I married in 1959, and lived for a while in South Carolina , Florida and then I moved to North Carolina. There after a few years I bought a 64 acre farm and raised cattle and worked. I became the first Licensed female livestock trader in NC, Working at stock yards buying and selling cattle. expanding to buying for large meat packing plants.
I worked in sewing Factories sewing uphostery materials. I continued my education majoring in Insurance and real estate. I raised my two children and in 2000 I moved back to Florida to semi- retire but an accident left me disabled.
In 2004 I decided to go back to the area my ancestors came from and bought a house near the beach near my dad's home town in Ms. I am enjoying being near family again. I spend most of my time researching and writing.

As you can see from my picture I am not Beautiful, But as My Idol Kate Hepburn Said "I've always been cute."

Well daddy said I was!

One of my favorite things has always been cooking for my family and friends. Maybe it's because they brag on me and tell me I do it well.

I saw many of these from my Balcony in Florida

I guess John Wayne was my all time favorite actor,
Tom Hanks comes in second  But I really like John Travota too!

I think my all time favorite movie would be The Green mile , I would follow that up with the Quiet man, and then it would have to be Gone with the Wind.

My favorie music is slow jazz, Louie Armstrong singing "What a beautiful world" is my all time #1 Song. #2 would have to be "The Dance" Followed by "Love me Tender"
